A disaster
It was a disaster and VRBO did nothing other than refund my $. I booked and got a confirmation and then called to ensure all was good. They dhave my reservation or anything. Such a terrible experience. Why would VRBO not block this place? I’m done with VRBO.

We arrived to check in only to be told they had no record of our pre-paid reservation. We were told that a two bedroom suite that we booked didn't even exist. We took a queen room with two beds. The beds were very uncomfortable so we immediately checked out. An hour was all we needed to know that this was not the place for us. Don't let the pictures fool you, they were taken at angles were you can't see the street right there.

Not worth the hassle
I booked and paid for this reservation for my son and his fiancé. When they arrived they told my son that they had the reservation but no payment and had him pay again. When I called VRBO they confirmed that the payment he made went directly to the owner. After two weeks, with no response from the owner, we were finally able to get the first payment refunded. As far as the stay, one of the bedrooms was missing a curtain and a light was shining through the whole night. There were also no shower supplies besides one bar of soap. (which they are not required to provide, but most quality places do). The stay was mediocre at best according to my son and then the hassle of being double charged put it over the top for us. Beware.

Canceled reservation
We made reservations to stay here but they were canceled so I had to scramble and find another place to stay last minute on a holiday weekend. I was refunded the cost of the room but not the fees so I’m still out money. I was offered an additional $50 for my trouble if I provided my PayPal info but that never came through. She never actually canceled my reservation properly according to the vrbo rep nor did she return any of my messages or phone calls. I was told in the message that they had plumbing issues so they had to cancel. I was already in town so I drove to the property and was told by someone in housekeeping they were unaware of any plumbing issues. I think they just overbooked. I will say that the pictures make this place look way better than it actually looks. It’s not in a good area of town. I’d steer clear of this place. There are plenty of nicer places to stay for cheaper.

To start, we didn’t get the room that was advertised on Expedia. They didnt even have the type of room they had advertised. The beds in one room came apart as soon as they were set on, the very first night on top of the lights and outlets not working. The closet had no doorknob. The following day they agreed to switch us to a new room after all the complications. After being transferred rooms and reassured everything was working, the key reader was broken on 1 of our new rooms and they had to literally use a crow bar to open the door after waiting for 45 minutes. The same day we went out for 8-9 hours and returned just after 4 to find BOTH rooms completely uncleaned. The weekend manager had told us she had talked to the owner and said she would get us a refund for all the troubles. After mentioning all the issues to the owner personally, she refused to reimburse us whatsoever because she thought we were getting a “good” deal for the rooms, regardless of ALL the issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! They advertise themselves under “beautiful clean suites” online but are actually called Stratus Boutique Suites. Save yourself the stress and spend your money elsewhere, I promise you won’t regret it! The Fairfield inn by Marriott became our new location and I highly recommend staying there instead.
