The staff at Kamaole Sands were great. While we enjoyed our stay at Kamaole sands, comparing this condo to others that we have stayed in at Kamaole Sands, I would probably choose a different condo for our next visit. When we arrived, there was a very strong smell in the condo that didn’t seem to go away during our stay. All of the dishes needed to be washed as about 90% of them were dirty. There is not a big selection of cutlery and the cutlery is horrible to use, especially the forks, which are very tiny. The oven is on a slant so it was hard to cook on the stove top, as it was on a slant. There is a small selection of beach items, which is always a bonus, but things are not in very good condition, except for the beach umbrella. The lanai is huge, which is nice, but the one lounge chair was broken (missing a leg) and it can be quite noisy as it is on the road side. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as we love Maui and are not in the condo much, except to eat and sleep. We love Kamaole Sands, but like previously mentioned, we would choose a different condo for our next stay.
