'We were placed in room 511 which is right under the gym so we were forced to listen to people pounding on the treadmill very early or very late in the day for our 8 day stay. This is not a thoughtful choice by the hotel for an 8 day stay.'

'House keeping rarely came and when they did they did only one bed and not vacuumed rug, never really fully clean as expected as other hotels. overall good hotel and helpful and nice staff at front, good security and communication via text.'

'Checkin was efficient with fresh cookie options and bottled water. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast had a ton of options but there are a lot of guests so be gracious and prepare accordingly. Pool was sufficient but again can get busy with the amount of people- Although pool towels always were Available. Convenient location with free parking a plus. It was close to zoo & downtown waterfront. Loved that they had regular, decaf and cold brew coffee along with tea and flavored water always...

'I recently stayed at the Wyndham hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The towels in the room were full of hair, which was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. Throughout the night, there were fights in the hallway, making it impossible to get a proper rest due to the constant noise and disturbance. 'I wish that somewhere on the website, Expedia or somewhere when I booked at the Sandman Inn that it would’ve said that the hot tub was not working. It was the reason I booked there was because I wanted to be able to enjoy the hot tub and so no, I will never go back there. I don’t care if the hot tub ever works. 'Highly unorganized place, the staff seems to be chaotic and does not know their job. Even after repeated requests they do not provide best service, the housekeeping left the door of our room opened, which we noticed in the evening when returned. Do not recommend to any body, at least who all will be coming with family, a strict no no. The staff does not know how to process or Cascade a given information. Double charged me for my stay, refund still awaited.'

'There was a rainstorm during our stay and our window started leaking. I tried to call the front desk but they wouldn't answer so I went down to the desk and told them the area above the window was leaking dirty brown water all over. They told me they already knew it was a problem and couldn't fix it. I asked to get another room and they told me they didn't have any available so they gave me one little towl to try to stop the leak.'

'It was sad to see doors locked early because of natives being put up because of fires up northern Manitoba. They were causing damage to hotel and security had to be brought in. It's a shame a few makes it bad for everyone. Other then that our stay was good.'

'It looked like the property was housing homeless individuals. Just getting through the front door, I had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke, with people smoking and drinking alcohol right outside the entrance. There was quite a bit of noise throughout the night, making it difficult to relax and sleep. Seeing three security personnel on site made me feel very uneasy, as it gave the impression that there were ongoing safety or security concerns.'
