The town is renowned for outdoor adventure, with guided excursion companies offering thrill-seekers opportunities to gorge walk, abseil, scramble, and more across the surrounding Lake District landscapes.

This pretty stone-built cottage has been lovingly maintained, retaining plenty of original features, including slate flooring and exposed brickwork.
