'The room was clean and easily accessible with our dog, so the hotel itself was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, our experience at the front desk really brought the stay down. The staff member we dealt with was repeatedly condescending and tended to over-explain or talk down to us rather than simply helping. For example, when our room key wasn't working, she pointed to the arrow on the card and told me, “Ma'am, this arrow goes down,” rather than checking whether the key needed to be reprogrammed....

'This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel that did not have carpet on the floors in the rooms. This is much easier to keep clean. The room was very nice with a view of the river. The breakfast was great and they were very accommodating for the 7 of us'
