'Loved the cabin, exactly what we wanted. Had a fire out front in the fire pit, had our baby sleep in the 2nd bedroom while we were in the other. The cabins were surprising very sound proof from the outside. Our only complaint is that we found the bed wasn’t very comfortable but keep in mind we usually don’t like memory foam style beds. Would stay here again.'

'Our four-night stay was exactly what we hoped for. The area is peaceful, near walking and hiking trails, and the cottage provided the use of kayaks that we could take out on the river, with a launch just across the road. The cottage was one of the best equipped places we've stayed in; as people with dietary restrictions, we do all our own cooking while traveling, and we lacked nothing in the way of equipment and tools. The pancake bar was a treat! Highly recommended.'

'Nancy and Greg have turned the loft above the garage into a cozy getaway with all the comforts of home. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meal. They were responsive to all our questions and needs. If you are wanting some peace and tranquility, I would highly recommend this lakeside loft.'

'The children enjoyed their time at the cottage. There's enough activities for everyone to do (kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat. They also have firepit where you can roast marshmallows. The property has an ample space to play freebies, badminton, volleyball and basketball. The cottage is a little outdated but it is spacious. Our overall experience was great. Ali was great too..We will go back to this property again..'

'We traveled from Mexico to spend time in nature and this place is fantastic. It is a very comfortable, clean property and has everything you need to enjoy the surroundings. We fell in love with the design of the house and the details in it are incredible. a property that meets and exceeds what it advertises in the app. Highly recommended to visit it and enjoy the tranquility that this property provides.'

'Would have been excellent if the host responded. There was an issue initially with the Vrbo booking as it would not allow the booking to save as I am a new Vrbo client. It was challenging to find the address of the place and as I had a work trip to the area it would have been kind of them to follow up. The cabin was lovely. The father of the owner was also very pleasant and the location was perfect. Thank you.'

'It was perfect, everything about this property was on point! My husband and I throughly enjoyed this lakefront property! The water is crystal clear, great swimming, even when it rained the one afternoon the lookout over the glass railing deck is exceptionally beautiful! Property had everything you need for a quick get away, so relaxing! We will be back for certain!'

'This is an absolutely beautiful two-story cottage with everything you need for a short or long-term stay. Nestled into the woods but close to the area's attractions, trails and the town of Haliburton - it's a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a washer and dryer, barbeque and beautiful views into the forest. All in all, I would highly recommend and hope to return...

'The cottage is very beautiful and the lake is very clean. The location is absolutely gorgeous however, the only problem was the cottage is not cleaned when we went there. We have to clean. There’s also no wifi connection. The host, I would say okay but not consistent, not responding when I messaged him regarding the wifi connection.
