'Beautiful location with views of the Meteora rocks. Close to hiking trails to monasteries. Owners were beyond belief and did our laundry for 20E. Paid for breakfast but well worth it. Great restaurant up the street - Meteron Panorama (try the steppe cow steak and smoked black pig). Worth spending 2 nights after hiking 11 miles.'

'We stayed two nights at this hotel during our trip in Greece. We chose Elati because it's reasonably close to Meteora (one hour beautiful drive through the mountains, but you can be arrive in Meteora faster over the highway). I found this drive one of the more beautiful experiences of our journey in Greece. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hostesses (mother and daughter) are very helpful, and take effort to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were excellent, mine included even...

'We had a amazing time at Iridanos! In our opinion the best place to stay when visiting Meteora. It’s located slightly out of town which is great in terms of parking and silence at night. Still, going into town takes just about 10-15 minutes on foot. Everyone at the guesthouse is so friendly and helpful and breakfast is amazing. Overal, great value for your money. Definitely book here for your trip to Meteora !'

'Ritsa was a kind and sweet host who sat me down and explained what to visit, how to get there etc. She also personally let me know to ask her any questions or if I need anything and she delivered. The property is small, but well cared for and safe. Everything is clean and pristine. Also easy access to some trails up to the monastaries! '

'We got a very nice room. Owner of hotel knew we will come with an infant of 1 years old and therefore gave us a bigger room. We had a very nice kitchen and everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Don't expect a luxureus breakfast but for us was just perfect. The location was very good. We went for hiking to meteoro and start was from hotel. '

'Stapelbed was niet voor kinderen boven de 5 jaar (zeer kort). Kleine kamer en kleine badkamer, maar wel schoon. Ontbijt was goed verzorgt. Locatie was zeer goed.'

'This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!'
