Located in the picturesque community of Keauhou (Kailua-Kona), right above Keauhou Bay, our condo offers you the perfect starting point for your adventures. In Hawaiian, Hāhālua means Manta Ray. Hāhālua are one of the spiritual creatures that represent aumakua (guarding spirits) and symbolize peace, tranquility, and deep calm. Life is constantly pulling us in different directions, demanding our attention. The Hāhālua remind us that staying calm and peaceful will help us navigate whatever life throws our way.

Hale Hāhālua is a bright, fully furnished end unit within a well-established condo complex in a very quiet & green, natural setting with beautiful ocean and golf course views. This 3rd floor unit has been extensively renovated using quality materials – bamboo wood floors throughout, travertine tile, granite & stone countertops, to name a few. Each room is lovingly decorated with art by local artists. There is a dedicated parking spot and the condo is fully furnished with luxury amenities such as a King-sized bed, updated, more energy-efficient A/C in the bedroom, washer and dryer, large, comfy sofa, and a wine cooler along with a fully equipped kitchen – so you can relax and enjoy your vacation. You will also have the ability to barbecue right on your own large, tiled lanai – the perfect spot to chill, relax and unwind after an active day.

Enter your personal door code at your private entrance to check in, and the door opens into the spacious, open-concept living and dining area. Soft ocean breezes floating in through the louvered windows will greet you with the sweet scent of the Island and keep you nice and cool. There are ceiling fans throughout the condo to amplify the breezes, and the A/C unit in the bedroom makes for cool nights even during peak summer heat.
Your eye will probably be drawn first to the right, where your spacious, 160ft lanai awaits with ample seating, a propane BBQ, and, above all, beautiful open views of the ocean, the golf course, and the tropical garden. Sit down for a minute and take it all in. This is where you are bound to spend most of your time - eating dinners watching the sunset, having a chat with loved ones, BBQing up a storm, or simply relaxing! If you can tear yourself away from the lanai, explore the rest of the condo. Make yourself at home in the comfy lounge chairs or enjoy ocean views even from the large sofa. Watch cable TV via the Spectrum App on the large Roku TV, or connect to your own Netflix, hulu, etc. account for movie night. Open every drawer in the fully equipped, functional and cozy kitchen, to find every implement you could ever need to prepare the tropical breakfast of your dreams - some mornings you may want a simple papaya with lime (both of which you will have bought from the farmers' market at the Keauhou Shopping Center just up the street), while others you may feel like making loco moco from scratch. And for relaxing in the evening after an eventful day, there is a wine cooler in the kitchen island.
Walk down the hall to find the full guest bathroom. Enjoy premium finishes like travertine tile throughout, a detachable shower head, and stone countertop. The hall closet offers mirror doors, for checking yourself out before heading out for a night on the town. Behind those doors you will find some handy equipment, such as pool towels, a drying rack, and also the full-sized washer and dryer. And finally, you will find the spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom, an A/C unit, and Roku TV. Look forward to some restful sleep and sweet dreams in the comfy King size bed! You will also find various charging outlets here, and ample storage in the dresser and cabinet. Just in case you wanted to pack light, we have equipped the bathrooms with all the basics, such as fluffy towels, make-up washcloths, cotton swabs, shampoo, and soap. The condo is located in a small (48 units), peaceful and close to nature feeling kind of condo complex right next door of the Kona Country Club golf course above Keauhou Bay. Its three acres offer a tropical garden, amazing sunsets, beautifully landscaped grounds, and a shared Outdoor Pool.
Your new home away from home on the Big Island is located just a four-minute drive from Kahalu’u Beach Park for some fun and easy snorkeling, and within walking distance of Keauhou Bay and the Keauhou shopping center, where you will find grocery stores, dining, a movie theatre and a huge diversity of shops – and of course there’s Manta Village in Keauhou Bay where you can spot the eponymous Hāhālua right from the shore.
