'Staff which tried to be funny, but who made us feel really uncomfortable. The property is built up a hill which makes it inconvenient to walk anywhere. They have their own taxi, but are not able to plan. We changed our schedule for the taxi in line with their availability. They announced different prices for the ride twice and finally reserved a taxi which was more than 2 times more expensive than announced. Don’t expect anything complementary, even for the small bottles of water in the room...

'We enjoy Goldwynn for its boutique feel and size. It is quiet and peaceful. It is very walkable and only 6 levels. We much prefer this size hotel & grounds, rather than the massive resorts like BahaMar and Atlantis. The beach chaise lounges (with padded cushions & thirsty towels) are properly spaced so that you are not sitting too close to other vacationers & have room to move your chairs in keeping with the shade provided by the umbrellas. The restaurant is okay, with room for improvement....

'I’ll keep this short and sweet. The property is beautiful and well kept. It’s huge without really feeling overwhelming. The beach was nice though I was expecting better. '10 out of 10, we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again. Spotless resort, lots of amenities, walking distance to town, clean private beach, great service. Just note the daily resort fee, VAT and service charges. Your bill will increase exponentially by the time these charges are added on. But we knew this going in!'

'Great brealkfast menu. By the beach in walking distance and close to the airport. Extra fees for parking and daily housekeeping along with a required deposit. Check with hotel before booking. My room was nice and clean, lacking some amenities, probably had to ask front desk for them. Location though is great.'
