« This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Riversid Retreat in Stonewall. Just love it. »

« This was exactly the location I was looking for. We were able to park and walk around to shop, eat, & pub crawl. The cabin was clean and just the right size for us two. A/C was on when we arrived and temperature was perfect. »

« Host was very communicative and responsive. Property was very nice and quiet. Location was great too. 15 minutes to both Fredericksburg and many vineyards and Garrison Brothers. »

« The property was great, the house/cabin was great. Its very clean. The price was also excellent. There's two negative things. 1)The bed was uncomfortable. It had a sink hole in the center of the mattress. My hubby said it looked like something was broken underneath the bed and maybe thatvwas the issue. 2) We could not get the gas powered fire pit feature to work. We did not report it to the host or anything, so maybe if we would have done that it could've been resolved. So, no biggie. Nonbof...

« We really enjoyed our stay. This was in a great location for visiting some of the local sites. But yet set away so you felt like you were deep in the woods. We enjoyed seeing wildlife straight from the deck of our stay. My only complaint is to have to say to please ask your cleaning staff to not neglect cleaning under the bed. Lots of dust and underwear was found. »
