I stayed at Red Roof Inn in Johnson City, Tennessee, from June 27 to July 1, 2025. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The location is also convenient, close to shopping areas and coffee shops.
However, I experienced a serious health issue during my stay. On the second day, I began feeling itchy on my face and scalp. Thinking it was an allergy, I took medication. But by the time I checked out, the itching had spread to my neck, arms, and entire face, with red spots developing. Once I returned home, my condition worsened. I was admitted to the ER twice on July 6 and 7 due to a severe skin infection. Yellow fluid began coming out from my ears and scalp.
When I showed my ER doctor photos I had taken during my stay at the hotel, the doctor suspected bedbugs as the cause of the reaction. I’m currently undergoing multiple tests and still receiving treatment. This has seriously affected my health and daily life. I request a response from Expedia and Red Roof Inc.
