'My 2 day stay was good. Everything was close by. But the bed was very uncomfortable, the fridge smell liked fish. They did come clean it but the scent came back. The pillows were terrible but they did give us 2 new better fluffier ones. Other than that it was good.'

'It's a no frills budget inn. We stayed one night. For the money, probably should have done AC hotel but we wanted to be close to OC. People have different expectations but be assured this is a budget inn.'

'The property is old with fair maintenance. The towels were worn. Very thin and tiny soap bars were provided, no shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was few pieces of bread, small waffle pieces, some dry cereal, milk and coffee and maybe orange juice - difficult to tell. Lots of caulking around tub and toilet. Old appearing floor and bed coverings. Worst motel ever stayed at.'

'From the lobby to our room itself, the hotel was very clean and the inside had all been updated. We got a King Bed Room (Rm14) and it was very spacious with a large closet, a mini-fridge, and a microwave in it. The bathroom was on the small side but very clean and met our needs. The bathroom had a standing shower only, no bath-tub. The pool yard is small but convenient and clean. Michael is the new owner and he was very helpful and nice to talk with. 'This is a charming hotel right near the boardwalk and beach. We had an end room with a balcony. The balcony was comfortable and has a nice view of the ocean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was provided daily and kept up with the room nicely. The parking is great!!! The pool area is a little hidden oasis. So clean and well maintained.'

The beds were good and clean, so did the bathroom (liked the big tub) and most importantly the space was huge. There weren't any options for coffee or any snacks in the lobby but the room did have a microwave and refrigerator. Also, plenty of dining options near the property within a walking distance.
