I wish I didn’t have to write such a negative review, as the cabin was very nice and the views were incredible, however, the host made our experience a negative one. An hour before check-in at 4pm, while we were driving to the cabin for a 2-night stay, the property management team called to inform us that the water heater broke. They mentioned that a person was supposed to arrive the next day to fix it. Do to the inconvenience of not having hot water during this period of time, we were offered a refund of 20% of the base rate for one night (which essentially was 10% of the total cost for one night after considering host fees and taxes). Upon arrival and entering the cabin, the temperature inside was very cold. The thermostat read 55. I tried to turn on the heat, but it didn’t seem to be working. After checking the heater in the basement, we discovered that the cabin used radiant heat that’s stemmed from the water heater. Not only did we not have hot water, there was no heat in the cabin. We again reached out to the host and also the property management team asking if the home had another source of heat. We did not receive a response for a while. We inquired if there were space heaters or heated blankets. After receiving no response, we ultimately purchased a heated blanket from a local Walmart. Eventually, the host did get back to us that night and let us know that 2 small space heaters were in the basement.I kept following up with the host for the duration of our sta
