'Aruma house is two blocks from Higaldo St and about 3 blocks from North Beach. Although you are near the center of activity, inside the house is peaceful and quiet. You can sit by the pool and hear the nearby live music. The open air kitchen and living area are spectacular; there was always a breeze cooling the space. 'The place was clean and appeared exactly as it was listed. Suited our needs in a central location on Isla Mujeres. The host was fantastic! She provided a lot of helpful info on getting to the island by ferry. Also provided info on the bag handlers and taxi service. There is a book in the room that lists local places to visit and her personal reviews. We will stay here again'

'Isla retreat has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The villa # 3 was much more than expected. The owner was slow to respond after the initial booking when we had to make changes to our reservation it took a number of attempts to get a response but the owner did accommodate our changes. Overall definitely a great place to stay.'

Victor and Ginny were very attentive to our needs and if you pay for the chef service, they really do their best to accommodate all of your diet and meal preferences and prepare the tastiest meals! You do need a golf cart or taxi in order to get around as the home is not within walking distance to town. We had such a wonderful time...
