'We really enjoyed this property and location. This location was quite with as much sea glass as one could want. Only 5 minutes from North Beach and 20 minutes from Punta Sur by golf cart. Amazing sunrise from the master bed. We swam in the ocean (of course with water shoes) just out the back door. Appliances all worked well and had plenty of bottled water ready for us. 'The house is right on the beach and the crashing waves beautifully drown out any traffic noise, so you magically forget about the world behind you (the windows are also soundproof btw). 'Lovely location, large bedrooms/bath. Beautiful views-10/10! Living room needs more soft seating for lounging. Outdoor furniture needs replacement - cushions were dirty and loungers were broken with no cushions. No wanted to use them for fear they would break.'

Ana the house manager was very attentive and helped us with our needs between a mid stay clean as we were switching guest mid stay. She also shopped for us upon arrival and again mid stay. 'We went to Isla for a week with 2 other couples and stayed at Casa Carey. It was a perfect house for our group. It is decorated very tastefully, clean, with an amazing view being on the Caribbean side with a pool. Even though we didn't cook, since there are so many great restaurants on Isla, the kitchen was well equipped. Sophia and her staff were excellent. 'The property was a great size and location for us and we generally really liked it for our stay. The only slight issue was the quality of the decked area outside which was a bit rotten in places which made it a bit dangerous. However, we did love it and would defintely stay again. 'Mayakita was a very clean and nice place. And the host was very responsive to all requests. We could not figure out the toaster oven so we messaged them and they were there within 5 mins showing us how to work it. Also we had no hot water when we first got there and they showed up super fast and got it repaired. The breakfast place next door was fabulous. The hot tub on the roof was a great addition and so nice to have a morning or evening soak. We had a great family trip!'

'Great property. The pool and the views were fantastic. Perfect location on the island. We did have some maintenance issues(ac/power outages ) but sometimes things just happen. What was important though, once management was notified it was taken care of immediately. I would come back.'
