'This was our 4th or 5th time staying at Catedral. We love it, and will be back many more times, I'm sure. The only downside was the pool was closed for a 2 week renovation that started 2 days into our 4 night stay. So we were bummed, but we know that the next time we come, there will be a new pool surface for us to enjoy. The staff is always exceptionally helpful, the underground secure parking is so important to us, and the location can't be beat. We consider this place "our spot" and look...

'The balcony facing the sea was the huge bonus for me. That was why I chose Las Gaviotas. As a solo traveler I did not need the large space. The apartment is very large with large balcony also. Perfect for families, or 2 couples as it offers each a bedroom and each their own bath plus kitchen. Location steps to Malecon, restaurants, cafes, grocery. And quiet for sleeping.
