'Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.'

'Bijou property full of charm- cosy and spotlessly clean- comfortable bed - absolutely delightful but only for two! Excellent location in a really beautiful village with great dog walks and friendly pub (The Fleece) which served us well on two nights Easy parking and great for visiting Lavenham and Long Melford'

'Faith Cottage is an outstanding property. Has it all. Fastidious thatched cottage set in beautiful gardens. Carol & Colin were friendly, helpful Hosts. Carol has the most exacting standards. Welcome Gifts for Guests so kind. Car parking in grounds and Washing machine greatly appreciated by us. Around visiting easily many nearby villages we actually rested up in the cottage and gardens too. Perfect. Suffolk an amazingly beautiful County.'

'Beautiful cottage with every convenience provided in a lovely setting, not far from the beach. The most fabulous hamper was in the kitchen when we arrived, everything for a couple of breakfasts. Plenty of hot water and very comfortable bed. Lovely place to stay.'

'The cottage was in a great location, making it easy to walk to the town and to the beach. The views from the top floor bedroom were great and we enjoyed watching baby seagulls. Our only issue was the height of the first floor mirror in the bathroom. We are both 5ft 6 and so not extra short but we couldn’t see at all for shaving or putting on make up! '

'The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking.'

'We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there.
