We wanted to share our experience so future guests can make an informed decision.Unfortunately, our stay included a serious safety incident. While one of our guests was showering, the glass shower door detached and shattered outward, resulting in cuts to his hands and feet. We treated the injuries ourselves. One shower door was already missing when we arrived, and the first aid kit on site was not equipped for this type of situation. This was alarming and could have resulted in a much more serious injury.Beyond that, the overall condition of the interior did not match the level suggested by the listing or the holiday pricing. There was significant dust buildup on multiple vents, dirty or stained rugs and linens, worn or broken kitchen components (including refrigerator shelving and hardware), damaged furniture, and several missing or incomplete basic household items. We also had to request a full set of silverware during the stay, and encountered seating that felt loose or unstable.While the backyard and outdoor space are attractive, the interior of the home felt dated and poorly maintained, with limited lighting and a kitchen that appears unchanged for decades. For the price being charged, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, upkeep, and safety.We contacted the property manager directly before posting this review. While a small refund was offered, many concerns—particularly the safety incident—were characterized as normal wear or items not listed
