'The room was clean with plenty of parking. Breakfast was pretty good. Elevators were a little dirty. Front desk was helpful but there was a storm during our stay. The pool wasnt open on time the next day. We didnt know this and went and asked how to access the pool, dressed in suits with towels. He told us and after we went outside we saw it was closed. We came back in and said 'oh. Its closed temporarily because of the storm.' That part is fine but it was a little irksome that he didnt say...

'Upon checking in the hostess was very nice but failed to tell us that the elevator was out and you have to walk the steps. Stairwell was very hot due to no air condition. We had to walk to the fourth floor and on our way up to the room we ran into a man probably 60 to 70 years old walking down the steps and complaining that this had been the fifth time that the elevator had been out since Sunday. I felt really bad for the poor man. There’s no way that there’s only one elevator in this building...

'Bathroom and bed was clean. But the property is showing wear and tear. Carpet in our room needed to be cleaned and we had a fogged window that you could not see out. Front desk person was nice. Just time for a remodel.'

'The space was just what we needed to rest in the summertime while my kids went to camp at the Brandywine Battlefield. We did have an AC system that did not work until the next to last day and we were given another room. Other than that the pool was great, the breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean.'

'The only two reasons why my rating for my stay is a 4 out of 5 is because 1) the bathtub was chipped / peeling. You can see the parts where it was painted over so it looked bad. It was clean but it didn't look clean due to the paint and peeling. 2) the nightstands had charging stations built into them on the side, and unfortunately my charging block didn't fit into it. Thankfully I was able to find a extension cord near the desk so I could charge my devices. Everything else was great. The room...

'The hotel was oké, it needs some work. The room was great however the sofa bed was terrible. During the night we found out the toilet needed plumbing which made the room smell all night. They did help, so the second night was better. '
