'It’s a bit off the beaten path but once you get here, it’s very well kept and the owners are very accommodating. Each cabin has a fire place and they start a fire for you at night. There is also a heater for when that isn’t enough.'

'Un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. Vi algunos colibris en el jardín y la familia es muy bonito, habla Quechua y español. Es un camino corto desde el centro de Otavalo pero sentí seguro en caminar allí. So much quieter than other properties in the center of the city. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and I felt safe walking to and from the downtown area for other meals. The owners are wonderful and speak Quechua as well as Spanish. Some beautiful long-tailed hummingbirds were out in the garden.'

'La casa de Luis es muy bonita y muy acogedora. Pudimos estacionarnos dentro de la cochera techada. La vista desde la cocina al lago es muy bonita. Luis es muy amable y nos hizo un upgrade. '

'The check-in was terrible. They didn’t accept a credit card. We had to pay in cash. The hotel is old. The location the worst. Drunk people outside at night, we had to call the police. Cotacachi is awesome but this hotel is the worst'
