'My room number was 105, 1st floor in Alleghany Springs. The dishwasher needed to be reattached to the wall, the 2 screws were clearly sitting on the counter above, but this was not repaired before our stay. Each time opened, the DW jarred forward, ugh! The room was clean, & adequate for the 4 of us, realizing that sofa beds are never the most comfortable. '

'Overall, a very nice room and property. We had a couple problems with electronic key access (to our room and to the front door). While inconvenient, staff always addressed the problems quickly. Make sure you read the check-in instructions and look over maps so you know where to check, etc. Overall, very nice...we will be back and stay in the Highland House.'

'Loved the spacious room size and bathroom size! The pool was phenomenal! Great help at the front desk at the hotel on top of the mountain and bottom! It was a wonderful place to stay and economical for me and my son! We will be back sometime just not sure when. '

'This will be my go to place to stay for any Snowshoe trip! The owner/host was amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming! The rooms were neat and clean. The house was so cozy! The owner made it feel like home. I cannot recommend it enough! '

'Love the location! Disliked the elevator not working and the we were on the 4th floor…. Luggage was a nightmare. Our room had one toilet paper roll and no one to call for more, they charge for towels to be switched out. Was not that impressed with Rimfire. '

'We had a great three night stay at Tea Creek Mountain Cabin. The cabin was just what we were looking for. Comfortable, secluded, and close to Williams River trout fishing. The cabin is not fancy. It’s actually fairly rustic, but it has everything you need, and the hosts were great to work with. We will definitely try and go back again.'

'Great place and very kid friendly. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but the time there was great. The only gripe is the internet is very slow. Very difficult to work remotely. This isn’t anything the owner can control or upgrade. The building needs new wiring to support better technology than DSL running over old phone line.'
