'This was our third trip to this house.....we love the location, it is private and picturesque...we got to see the bald eagles again!!!!!! WE love the 30 second walk to the beach and the calm water of the bay! The local environment is also beautiful...especially the towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock and the local marinas. The home is beautiful. WE hope to return! '

'We had a great 5 night stay!Booking and communication with the host were easy and seamless. The house was spotless when we arrived with everything well prepared, including coffee! The towels and bedding were excellent and gave it a nice hotel feel.The property is quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved the community pool and most of the time we had it all to ourselves. The hot tub was a nice bonus. It was clean and worked perfectly.We couldn’t find the iron and the host had one brought over the next...

'This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first...

'We cooked all our meals using both kitchens and had plenty of room and supplies to do so. Absolutely loved the grill and outdoor seating arrangements. We had plenty of room for everyone and the home matched exactly as advertised. '

'We loved our stay at the Cedar Point Carriage House! Everything was very clean and well planned. The kitchen and baths had all the amenities and then some! 'Nice private property, nice modern house. Our family had a great time. Water from shoreline is shallow and you are able to walk out a considerable length depending on tide. Great for swimming and crabbing. Owner was responsive and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this property to all for a quiet saltwater getaway.'
