'Simply lovely a guest house right by the beach - would love to go back !'

'I think I may have stayed in a different hotel to the one advertised on Hotels.com and other websites. Certainly my single room looked nothing like the photographs, it was very small, in need of upgrading (the sockets were coming off the wall), with a thinly mattressed bed squeezed at one end, with a noisy fridge (with a glass door and light on permanently. The wifi didn't work, the bedside lamp didn't work, the light on the wall in the bathroom didn't work, and the shower was similar to...

'Very good, the only thing was the size of my room. I had a single room and it was OK for one night, because I had only a small bag with me. But if you have a suitcase or a big bag, there is no space in the single room. But the rest was very good.'

'We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!'

'For what you pay it’s extremely decent especially considering it is right on the seafront. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was clean. The only downside is that even with the windows open there was no airflow but nothing can really be done for that. The shared bathroom was a little bit grubby but not bad.'
