We were not able to enter the property even though we tried to check in an hour after our scheduled time. People along with a small child were in the house upon our arrival. When a man opened the door we were met with an extremely strong smell of marijuana. The man said the people who stayed there before us “did something” and it was not ready still. I never received notice of check in being delayed nor was I ever notified when the place was ready. The neighborhood was very rundown and between that, the poor communication by the host and the house smelling of marijuana, my family and I did not feel safe. The host never acknowledged my concerns nor did they offer any apology or a refund. Very poor and disappointing experience.

The home itself was VERY beautiful. Communication with the host was WONDERFUL! BUT, when we arrived, we were unable to get in the home. When we got in, the weed smell was STRONG. We found a lighter under the couch when we dropped something. No dishes, no paper towels, no trash bags. Gate would not work. Dishes in the dishwasher. Clothes in the dresser. No grill or playground area. Food in the refrigerator. Wet bedding/towels in the dryer. Beautiful home and great communication with the host, not a great location, bed was very comfortable though. But would not stay again due to the lack of amenities that were supposed to be there, the weed smell, the security gate not working. Not having dishes at all.
