I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Houston Energy Corridor. I was Greatly disapointed with my stay. There was a strong odor throughout the facility, and the pool appeared to be poorly maintained. Trash in the morning was overflowing, which gave an overall impression of a lack of cleanliness. At one point, the water was shut off for approximately two hours with no communication or offer of accommodation from staff.
It appeared to be and infestation of roaches. There was roach in my room. I went down stairs and let the desk attendent know. He was healpful in sending info to the manager. in the morning when i went to speak to the manager she was not plesent. Stating that there was not much she could do outside of comping me the night. Then she replied what else do you want . This was very dismissive. Having Roaches in my room after the fact that my room had NOT been cleaned as requested.
There were a number of things that made this stay inconvient and concerning. Breakfast was not served at the scheduled time, which was inconvenient. Once it was served one day there was nothing out ( not being refeshed in the middle of breakfast service) No coffee no water for tea, no condments. No fruit. The trash was over flowing in the loby and the breakfast area.
The one positive aspect of my stay was an employee named Jimmy, who genuinely tried to accommodate us and was helpful despite the circumstances. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and I hope man
