'We were on orcas only for one night Mother’s Day weekend. The space was beautiful and comfortable and clean with great light. Jodi was a lovely host. We especially loved listening to the birds in the morning. The place is an 18 minute drive from town and is quite secluded. There is a lovely view. Anyone staying there should just keep in mind that the kitchen is more of a kitchenette. There is a small refrigerator and microwave and toaster oven and coffee maker, but no stove so you can warm food...

'We came here for our honeymoon, we are an older couple, 49 & 50. We loved the rustic outdoorsy feel of the place. The lookout spot was fabulous, we spent hours both days of our trip sitting out there with blankets the owners provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect size for the two of us and it was clean. We will definitely come back someday.'

'Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. '

'Fabulous beds, great view, comfy furnishings and very convenient; everything is walkable. But the shower had issues, the toilet was hard to flush, there were ants in the bathtub and splinters in the stair rail. Still, I would (and will) stay there again!'

'The location and the fact they have onsite parking is great and a car isn’t absolutely necessary. It’s an older hotel and that’s okay. However, it would be better if they do some much needed renovations updating the carpet in the hallways and giving the suites an overhaul. And the kitchens that aren’t full fledged kitchens at a minimum need bigger glasses for water and adult beverages. And while it is old and in need of some updates, it is well-maintained overall.'

'Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).'

'This may be the best VRBO experience we have ever had! Upon arrival, the view from the floor to ceiling windows was spectacular! Everything was as advertised and more, and we wanted for nothing. Our host was always prompt with her communications and told us everything we needed to think about to enhance our stay. I would definitely request to stay here again if the opportunity arises.'

'The space is very well kept and cozy. The only downsides are the noisy area directly outside the door (a bar and grill), the parking isn't great, the entrance is in an alley with dumpsters from said bar and grill, and the view of the water isn't as great as I had hoped but overall the property manager and the room itself were great.'
