'Best stay in Sri Lanka! Beautifully decorated nice hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly and foods and drinks are very good. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely stunning. We had a view on the sea which was lovely. '

'Loved our 3 days at Taru Villas. Beautiful, quiet boutique hotel on a fabulous beach. The staff made the hotel feel like home -they were exceptional. Particular shout out to Pramodya who made us very welcome, and to Sam who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
Restaurant was also excellent!'

'The house was beautiful with wonderful sea views and very well kept and homely. Quality room. Location was mixed as very close to the blowhole attraction, one small Beach with coral and over longer bay with quiet waves; however it's a long way from a supermarket, bus stop or restaurant and up some rocky steps uphill which was difficult for my partner who was using crutches.
We enjoyed the food cooked by our host who was lovely but did not speak great English, and so there was confusion over...

'This hotel has an amazing spot on the beach. The only drawback was the lack of a view from our room. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were delightful. Despite the lack of light/view in the room it does offer a number of beach facing seating areas and a fantastic breakfast '

'I must be honest at first I was a bit sceptical about staying in this place. The pictures just didn’t make me feel like it would be a place I want to stay at.
So I booked just a few days and then I ended up extending my stay and I stayed here for two weeks

'We were given an upgrade...very thankful for the huge room. Great air conditioning unit..plus fans. Staff were all happy and helpful. A special thank you to Isuru from the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. He helped me choose the right Sri Lankan option at breakfast...it was fantastic and a lot of food...all superbly cooked by the chefs. 'I was very unhappy with this accommodation, which we paid £200 per night. On arrival the hotel staff and checking was very nice, our room was on the fourth floor via the lift and very, very steep stairs to the room. The bathroom was awful totally open to the outside world view with plastic curtain which kept blowing around in the wind, when you were trying to take a shower. This wasn't shown in photo's on your website or mention in the description to this room.
Also no desk in the room, or...

'Kleines famiiengeführtes Hotel ( ein Bungalow, ein großes Familienzimmer) mit kleinem Restaurant mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer direkt an der wundervollen Bucht von Unakuruwa, die sehr gut zum Schwimmen und zum Surfen geeignet ist. Die übergroße Herzlichkeit und die Natürlichkeit der Betreiberfamilie lässt über Ausstattung der Zimmer hinwegsehen. Der größere Bungalow hat eine schöne Terrasse. Es ist eher ein Homestay als ein Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.'
