Much love, respect, and work has gone into creating The Chalet at Cape Catherine to be appreciated by family gatherings and groups wanting to bond and enjoy Lake Catherine for its beauty, adventure and peacefulness in a clean, well-cared for home. Outdoor security cameras with views of the entrances and exits have been installed. They are only monitored if neighbors inform us of excessive noise (past quiet hours) or parties occurring. We value and respect the privacy of our guests.



Guest Access:

Cape Catherine is a private peninsula on Lake Catherine. The peninsula is home to 3 houses; The Big House, The Chalet and The Cottage, as well as one RV - the Bluebird of Happiness. You will be sharing the peninsula with guests in the other two houses and RV. However, you will be the only one to have access to The Chalet. The Chalet is not shared with anyone.



The Neighborhood:

Cape Catherine is a private peninsula with 3 houses and one RV on it. It has a two stall boat dock, a swim dock and one pier. There are Kayaks, a paddle board, and a canoe for use by the guests on Cape Catherine. No one is allowed on the peninsula unless they are renting one of the houses or the RV



Getting Around:

- 16 min to the nearest grocery store

- 20 min to Hot Springs Airport

- 15 min to Oaklawn Racing and Gaming Casino

- 17 min to Downtown Hot Springs/ Bathhouse Row

- 11 min to Garvan Woodland Gardens

- 20 min to Magic Springs Amusement Park

- 1 hr. to Little Rock, AR

You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this house.



The lake, docks, paddle boards, and kayaks are for your use. Use them and swim at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur while using these items.



This house is on Lake Catherine. Entergy drains Lake Catherine every year for shoreline maintenance and general Lake Health. That means that FROM MID-NOVEMBER TO MID-MARCH THERE IS NO WATER UNDER THE DOCKS OR AROUND THE PENINSULA.
