Blokhutten in Horse Shoe

'We spent five nights here with our two dogs- it was the perfect spot for both accessing all WNC has to offer, as well as relaxing around the beautiful property! The cool breezes and jaw-dropping views made it tough to leave! We’ll definitely be back!'

'A Beautiful small cabin with a truly breathtaking view.'

'A great place to stay! The best way to describe the cabin is ... quaint, relaxing, comfortable with a rustic ambiance. The location is quiet with great views of meadows and scenery. The porch swing and rocker on the back porch was a nice place to sit and read. There is good access to private hiking trails and convenient to Pisgah National Park trails and the Davidson River and other small rivers for fly fishing. We enjoyed all of the local fruit and vegetable stands and the small towns of Brevard...

'We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is fantastic and so completely authentic and rustic, which is just what we love! We would definitely stay there again. We so loved the sweet birds on the porch - watching them going and coming from their birdhouses! It rained just about the entire time we were there, but that is something we have no control over.'

'Good location '

'What a beautiful and lovely little cabin! It's location was ideal for all the places we wanted to hike and visit - the Pisgah Forest waterfalls, Dupont National Forest, Gorges State Park and Whitewater Falls, and of corse, the charming downtown Brevard. Everything in the cabin was perfect and very clean. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to/watching the storms roll through. The owners/hospitality partners were also commincative and helpful and very kind. Thank you for sharing your...

'Property was very nice. I loved the layout of the home and the bathtub was amazing. Only downfall was the WiFi. It was spotty and slow. I was hoping to get some work done but had to admit defeat. Overall great place and I hope to stay again.'

'This place is super cute and exactly as advertised. Our little family had an excellent time. We used the spa facilities and bathhouse. All were clean and well maintained. We had a little trouble finding our cabin at first but other than that we were very happy with our choice.'

'We had a great 1 night stay in the corn crib unit of this property. It was extremely peaceful. We only stayed 1 night and had to leave early in the morning to continue our travels but we wish we could have stayed longer. The sauna was a pleasant experience and the shower/bathroom building was the cleanest I had ever seen from a camping type set up. Would stay again and definitely recommend others stay.'

'Small cozy cabin. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean. Heated towel rack was a nice surprise. Unfortunately due to the short stay we couldn't experience everything in the area but that doesn't ruin the stay.'

'We could not have picked a better place for our family vacation to enjoy quality time with the kids, grandbaby, & even our dog. It was the perfect location for short drives to get to the waterfalls in DuPont Forest, the Hendersonville Apple Festival, and to go apple picking in the local orchards. The cabin was so roomy & comfortable. Deer were in the yard every morning & you can see the mountains from the back porch. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had while preparing for...

'Everything was great!'
