'We arrived at the property.. it was so easy to find with the sat nav app... If I had to give any negative feedback. It would be for such simple little things .. such as some slippers . Bath robes. Shower gel.and tv in the bedroom would of made it complete.. b'

'No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

'If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.'

'You can only rate everything with the most stars. The hostess is something you couldn't ask for. It got dark quite early for this time of year. No problem at all; we returned around 4:00 pm, enjoyed a pot of tea in the living room, and felt right at home. The Christmas tree greeted us upon arrival. We felt completely at ease from beginning to end. It certainly won't be our last visit.'

"Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was prima. Ik heb een aantal keer gebruik gemaakt van het binnen zwembad ( in een ander gebouw, tegenover het hotel) Daar kun je ook gebruik maken van de sauna en steam room. Helaas waren er veel renovatie werkzaamheden aan de gang. Hierdoor waren het restaurant en bar gesloten. Ook was de laatste twee dagen de receptie gesloten en een tijdelijke receptie gecreëerd. Wat in en uitlopen wat minder handig maakte. De ligging is leuk, mooie groene omgeving, met het openbaar vervoer een goed uur van hartje London. Maar een minuut of tien lopen vind je ook wat locale winkels, restaurants en pubs. Ik had graag geweten dat er renovatie werkzaamheden bezig waren. Maar deze zijn zeker niet overbodig. De kamer was prima maar gedateerd. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad."
