'Albert is the best host. He greeted us when we arrived with fresh tulips and showed us how everything worked. He helped us navigate the two biggest celebrations in Amsterdam. The houseboat is clean, very modern with all of the modern conveniences.... including heated bathroom floors. We will be back again.'

'The houseboat meets or exceeds expectations from photos and descriptions. It is very well appointed with great amenities and in a great location. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.'

'Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! 'We had such a lovely and easy going stay on the Ms Luctor. We were conveniently located near Centraal Station and could get anywhere we wanted with the bikes available to us. Breakfast every morning was such a treat. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had just enough apartment-like space to be cozy while visiting Amsterdam.'

Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...

'I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!'
