"We enjoyed our stay in Hilo. The apartment is the ground floor of Ingrid's family home, and has its own separate entrance. Having been to Hilo before, we didn't feel we needed a fancy tourist vacation destination lodging location, for a place to stay. At night, you hear the waves crashing against the rocks. You really are staying on the beach. Special mention of Terry, the owner. He’s super responsive. This was a great experience. Thank you."

"Good location to take advantage of the Hilo area and the east side of the Big Island. Very clean and safe. Beautiful home. Had just about everything we needed during our stay. We would stay here again, book with confidence. Left us a nice welcome package and included a dozen fresh eggs. Very much appreciated. One little thing, there is a gas grill, but if you use it there is an additional cleaning fee. That should have been disclosed in the property description."

"The house was a roomy older house, conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Hilo. Overall, the house was terrific. The only drawback was the shower stall and showerhead. The shower flow was insufficient. A hand-held shower head would be better!"
