B&B in Honduras

'Everything was exceptional!! Noel and Sandy were absolutely lovely and very helpful! Breakfast was top notch! Just a short walk from the beach. The beach can get very busy so it was nice to retreat back to the Inn for some peace and quiet with a small private pool under the stars. Room had everything you could need to spend months there. Felt more like a small studio apartment. Very clean!! Not sure when we'll find our way back to Roatan but when we do, we'll definitely be staying here.'

'We spent a week at this delightful property. We enjoyed breakfast daily, friendly and helpful staff and the opportunity to visit with Myrna there guests. This was a great location near West Bay activity, but a couple of blocks off the beach on a gravel road which made this a quiet retreat. We loved the place and would certainly stay here again if we return to Roatán'

'Excellent place. We arrived around 12 and our room was not ready yet, because check in is at 2 or 3. We took some coffee and snacks in the garden and when we’re done the room was ready. The city is tiny, so it only takes 5 minutes to get to the center. Copan ruins within walking distance too (15-20min). You can enjoy a glass of wine or beer on the terrace in the evening. Breakfast was very good as well, as other reviews were saying. There is a massage service too, but we didn’t have time...

'We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. La Villa de Soledad is a beautiful mansion in the traditional Spanish style with an open courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. John and Soledad were kind and accommodating hosts. We had an incredible dinner there cooked by Soledad - maybe the best during our trip to Honduras. The short walk down to the river is really nice and it honestly beats having a pool. '

If you’re backpacking through and you just need a place to crash it will be perfect. Well, almost perfect. If you’re not a backpacker Roatan BnB may not be as convenient as you had imagined.
