'The property where this beautiful mansion-like home is located is exquisite. From a distance, the drive feels like approaching something special, which it is. If you like natural beauty and quiet, come. If you enjoy birds and deer and lush greenery, come. The staff was attentive. The room I had (with a long balcony) faced the back and was perfect for me. The pool was the best: for some reason not crowded. Food was very good and eating areas very inviting. Great running areas. Bikes...

'The hotel would have been ok but we were given a room key that opened a room that someone was staying in....IT WAS SCARY !! We go an upgrade to a suite but it was still scary... The couches needed to be replaced cause they were ragged.'

'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'
