'Arshad works very hard and is the most kind, helpful, professional and friendly man you could have in an accommodation. On my forst day in Huraa, I arrived when the sun was setting and Arshad took me to the Bikini Beach so to show me the path. 'Service en vriendelijkheid van staf zijn TOP!! Ontbijt is ook goed, zowel Aziatische als continentale keuzes. Ligging tov van vliegveld is goed. Gratis airport transfer bij aankomst en vertrek. Nadelen zijn de schone maar kleine kamers (9m2) en het al maandenlange lawaai naast en tegenover het hotel als gevolg van de activiteiten mbt de presidentsverkiezingen in september. 'Location is excellent, restaurants, coffee shops, bus station, very safe as it's just behind the police station, staff are nice, however the room was so small, closet was broken, no soap in the bathroom, no tissue papers, no hangers in the bathroom, TV was not working, surprisingly that the price was not less than other places so I felt that I should have chosen better place with the same price.'

Possible to visit the largest underwater restaurant in Asia in a nearby resort (6,8m under the Indian Ocean) where you can enjoy an 8-course delicious meal while literally seeing multiple sharks swim by. Also possible to visit other beautiful resorts nearby for a small fee. Possible to dive nearby with great white sharks, tiger sharks and bull sharks. This is the 3d most beautiful location in the world for diving! Jailbreak, literally next to the island, is the 6th most beautiful location in the world for surfing (while you’re surfing you see the dolphins swim by)! Visited inhabited islands with bounty beaches where you can picnic. Possible to fish and they prepare the fish on the bbq in the evening. You can eat good dinner for 10 dollar per person on the island itself. As a western tourist I always felt very safe on the island, also in the evening or during the night (also for women). Friendly people in general. Boat transfer from Male international airport to the island is 15 minutes away and costs 25 dollar. People from the hotel are waiting for you at the airport. Don’t worry, you’ll understand what I mean once the plane lands and you look out the window!"

"Hotel is beautiful. De personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Privestrandje heerlijk op loopafstand van ong 30 meter. Het eten is prima en heerlijk. Juist niet grote bufffet maar voldoende. Himmafushi is een prachtig bevolkte eiland waar je kan zien hoe de Maldivische cultuur is. Groot verschil met eilanden/atollen waar alleen resort is. Daar houden wij ervan. Dus we hebben echt van genoten."

"The resort is beautiful but most of all the service is excellent. For a resort on the more affordable end it actually exceeded our expectations on the service level. The all-inclusive package features a good cocktail list, the buffet is “average” at best. It is nice to have a minibar partially included as well, although, I would suggest to be a bit more flexible with the “two soft drinks a day” policy, which I find a bit ridiculous to be honest. Also with the quality of the wines, it might be better to not serve wine at all as part of the all-inclusive package. I think the disappointment of that would be less than to be served this kind of horrible wine. One last peace of improvement could be found in the “Expedia VIP acces gold member recognition”, although we did not receive a room upgrade I did strongly got the feeling that we were put in one of the best possible rooms within our booked category. But I had to ask hour host to get confirmed that this indeed was the case. The room was simply amazing and one of the best villa’s on the island. But at checking nobody told us specifically about this. It’s a quick win to tell your guests actively that they can enjoy the benefits of one of the newest and biggest villa’s when you assign them to them. We hade a great stay and the value for money, especially considering you are on the Maldives, is on the right level here. Special thanks to our host Rishwaan, buffet server Dinesh and buffet host Geethinka who made us feel welcome! "
