'Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.'

'A hotel at a great location on the golf court, with a fantastic restaurant. Unfortunately the state of the building is not as nice as the picture shows, and the windows are desperately requiring maintenance. Service was OK, but I was given 2 single beds instead of a double bed, and they neglected to inform me that Wifi was free of charge. A lot of apologies, but not really what I expected for the price paid. Still an interesting experience and the restaurant made up for it.'

'Echt een super Engelse locatie. Prima ontbijten. Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijke bediening. De kamers werden elke dag geruimd. De badkamer elke dag schone handdoeken. Handdoeken met een afmeting dat ik me schaamde om ze te gebruiken. Fantastisch mooie uitzichten vanaf het terras naar de zeer wijdde omgeving van Cheshire. Wij hadden er geen probleem mee, integendeel, maar het ligt op een afgelegen locatie. Een buitengewoon vriendelijke locatie. Echt Cheshire. Je moet echt met een auto komen.'
