'Host was easy to work with and very welcoming. When we had car trouble on a holiday weekend, they were very understanding and we didn't have any problems extending our stay an extra night. Definitely on our list of return stays! '

'The stay was good. Lots of places to eat at around there, but non deliver unless you use doordash. The beds were hard and that was our only complaint for our 4 day stay.'

'I stayed here three nights as a base camp to visit the Black Hills area and it was amazing. The whole Canyon Lake area is phenomenal and i plan to come back to the Black Hills in the next year or two and will be staying at this location again.'

'This property is small but fine for two people who were on the go most of the time. It could feel a little cramped if there were more people or as a place to stay for an extended period during the day. It is a few miles from Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore, so it was in a good spot for our adventures, and easy walking distance to the downtown area. It offered good, basic accommodations without any frills. We have no complaints.'

'Overall, this house was well stocked with towels and the hot tub was great. We were thinking this would be a little more remote than it was, given a neighbor is right across the creek. The back of the house was a peaceful hillside though. We didn't realize there also wasn’t a dishwasher. While washing our own dishes was fine, the ones already put away weren’t all clean.'

'we loved this cabin. the creek is awesome and so is the deck. clean and neat. the owners were in contact with us and did everything to make our trip a success. the cabin is very cozy and gives you the feel a mountain retreat needs to feel!!! thanks for letting our family stay there!!!'

'Our stay at Creekside was perfect! The cabin was spotless and organized in the most helpful way! The location was perfectly situated so we didn't have difficulty finding it at all! It was a peaceful area that was perfect for downtime after a busy day of sightseeing! Check in was perfect for us to do on our own. . .as we didn't get in until 11! I have been wanting to bring my kids to the Black Hills for years and this place made all of us eager to plan a trip back!! We will probably plan that...
