Al Capone's old Prairie avenue home before and today, 7244 South Prairie Avenue. Built by it's original owners in 1914 at a cost of $5,000. With their roots still in New York , Al Capone and family began to move into the place on August 8, 1923. The ownership was under Mae and Theresa Capone. Frank Capone's funeral was held here. Theresa Capone passed away in this house in 1952. On November 26,1947, the ownership was transferred to Mafalda Maritote. (Al's sister). After Theresa's death, she sold the house on January 15,1953, to a William B. Petty. It has changed hands since then and is currently for sale.

L’hébergement est parfait au niveau du confort et de l’équipement. La navette gratuite jusqu’à la station de métro pour Chicago est très pratique. Par contre, le personnel à l’accueil ne s’est montré ni sympathique, ni serviable.

Rude. Rooms didn’t lock. I was moved 3 times. TVs didn’t work. Room looked like it was used right before I entered. Housekeeping was very very rude about leaving by 11

The home fit our needs perfectly. Plenty of room for all of us and great common spaces. Wonderful location with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We sincerely appreciated having the steps and walkway shoveled within an hour of check out, which was extremely considerate of our host!

I can't recommend it enough! The communication with the host was excellent throughout my stay. They were accommodating and even allowed me to stay an extra hour, which made my departure much easier.
