'We stayed in the apartments and had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common area. It had the potential to be incredibly nice. Keep in mind that the building is in the bar district, so you will get a little noise from that. It was like visiting your old friend’s house, it was just surface clean. Dust bunnies under the beds, sticky floor (probably a cleaner residue), mold in a shower. I cracked up at the vase of dead flowers on top of the stove. We were missing a toilet seat, one shower door rail...

'Parking was easy, room was clean and the host communicated all access details clearly. We had a room facing the main road so noise could be an issue for travellers sensitive to noise. Especially since the room does not have AC, we had to leave the windows open - though there was a pretty strong fan provided so all was good.'

'Loved the location of this rural property in Uig overlooking the loch and the terminal for the ferry to the Outer Hebrides. The house is a bit difficult to find but the owners are almost always nearby and are friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for the 4 of us (all adults) for 3 nights, and I could have stayed longer.
