Big Nate Cabin on Lake with Water Trampoline

  • Big Nate is een cabine met 2 complete keukens en 2 woonkamers en 2400 vierkante ft van de ruimte met 4 slaapkamers. Hij is de beer die zal u begroeten op de deur. Er zijn ook 5 badkamers in Big Nate voor uw gemak en privacy. Het terrein is een gemakkelijke piste om te wandelen en een geweldige plek voor kinderen om te spelen. We hebben een wip en paard schommel voor de jongere kinderen en hoefijzers voor de oudere kinderen. Big Nate heeft een eigen aanlegsteiger en een oprit naar de boot in het water te zetten. We hebben een 15 ft trampoline met een glijbaan en de lancering. U kunt vissen uit de boot dokken of gewoon liggen rond en zwemmen. Er is een open haard met schuur en een kampvuur te zitten 's nachts. Er is veel ruimte om uw familie-uitjes hebben.

This Cabin is a great location on the lake with the cove and dock. The water trampoline is just perfect too.

A few issues but the owner took care of them immediately. Great place for kids. The trampoline and accessories were a huge hit with the kids. We are already planning to come back next year.

It was a great summer vacation. It was perfect for 10 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. We brought our two jet skis and had a wonderful time on Lake Chatuge. We rented a Wake Boat the first day from the local Marina and spent the entire Saturday on the lake. Hiking, golfing sightseeing, shopping, paddleboarding, etc. The kids found a rope swing on the lake and had a blast. There is a water trampoline off of the dock. The kids had a blast. The house has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The 5th bathroom is right off of the front door. It is a two-story with a loft. The bottom floor is like a separate apartment with its own kitchen and livingroom with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We wish we could've stayed there for a month.

This was a beautiful place to stay! It was clean and big enough for everyone. We didn't get to enjoy the water because of the cold weather. We will be back for another stay.

We had a great time at Big Nates. The lake was wonderful and the kids loved the water trampoline. Cabin was comfortable and all 11 of us fit with no problem. Great hikes are close by.

This property has real potential with a little maintenance and some amenities. Waterfront was great. The slide, dock and Trampoline excellent for kids. Location near town was great, Bedrooms were spacious and all had bathrooms. However in the main floor bedroom the footboard on bed was so tall you could not watch the entire TV without sitting straight up. The inside could have been cleaner. Previous guest and cleaners left old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Thus gnats were present in the kitchen area. Only 2 bathrooms had hand towels in the cabin. Hand soap dispensers were not in every bathroom. Fans on back porch lacked pull cords. Could not find a broom. The ladder on the dock was sturdy but could have been better for adults. Towel rack in bathrooms not large enough for 2 towels. Address these fixable items and this cabin would be top notch.

Second stay at Big Nate

Our family had another great time at Big Nate! The dock is great for our boat, with the ramp right in back of the cabin. The layout of this large cabin is perfect for the different generations of our family. The large covered back deck overlooks the lake and is so peaceful. Great vacation!

Nice, roomy cabin with convenient Dollar General across the street. Enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and nice back yard.

Great spot on the lake. Big house with plenty of room. Lake trampoline was a shared amenity which was fine but didn’t catch that in the listing. House could have been cleaner (showers not cleaned, many cobwebs) but overall a nice stay.

Family getaway

We have stayed here before and had a great time again. Since the olympics just started we did our own games and had medals and an awards ceremony. Just a lot of fun! Thanks for letting us stay here again.

Fantastic !!!

We loved big Big Nate’s ! It had a lot of space , a beautiful dock , a ramp for your boat or jetskis and a nice flat driveway . We will definitely stay at this property again . We enjoyed nightly fires in the huge outdoor fireplace area too .

Thanksgiving Adventures 2022

The view are beautiful! The lake, the mountains, the cabin, it was so nice. We (12 of us) stayed here for 5 days and was accommodated very well. Cabin completely stocked with everything you could ever need on 2 floors. Ready to go back again!!

Overall property it’s amazing! I wish there was better communication with property manager I asked how to turn on the the fireplace for Christmas and I never got a reply other than that overall it was great experience, I liked that there is a dollar general store across the street walking distance.Thank you.

House was big and roomy, loved the outdoor area. Only draw back was no TV, no internet, and no DVD player to watch movies late at night, other than that, loved it and would rent again.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Nate's! Our family (ranging 80 to 8 years old) enjoyed the house and the property. We were even rained in one day, and there was plenty of room! We collectively decided we would like to return...but especially in the warmer months so we could take advantage of the water more!

Family time

The property is everything we asked for and more. We had all 3 cabins rented for a family lunch. The pavilion at Big Nate plus the area in all 3 backyards was perfect. We didn’t let Hurricane Helene slow us down even though a lot of family stuck in S.C. and could not attend. Thank you Shirley!

June experience

Had a wonderful time with large family ranging from teen through senior citizens (including wheelchair). The house was spacious and provided plenty of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms to give individuals space. We spent time in the lake using the trampoline, slide and swimming off the dock. We rented kayaks and enjoyed the lake. Response was quick when using the call feature in the app. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is beautiful, great spaces, nice lake view located in great area. Need some repairs, the main bathroom toilet is not working properly (no water), main kitchen faucet handle sprinkle water when you open it , basement 2nd bathroom toilet is lose (it moves when you seat on it)

Great home on the lake!

We have a family reunion every year down in the area and always stay on the lake! This home was perfect for my kids (18, 15 and 11) and my sister with her 3 kids (10, 3 and 8 months). Home was very clean and inviting. The downstairs efficiency kitchen was perfect for my sister to easily tend to her little ones without having to go up and down the stairs. The canoes, kayaks and water trampoline were icing on the cake! We look forward to staying next year!
