Blokhutten in Het zuiden

'The cottage was a several minute drive from the lodge. 3 flights of stairs to reach the cottage. We are in our 70's with luggage - didn't really work out for us and had to cancel our second night. The cottage was in need of updating and repair. Smelled !! No screens on the windows, blinds were missing pieces and generally inoperable. Mattresses were old. Furnishing were old. Would not recommend staying there. Front desk staff refunded our second night easily.'

'Very peaceful spot with great views!'

'Great place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Great beds and a wonderful view of the mountains from the front porch of "the bank". Definitely recommend this place to anyone!'

'Excellent cabin to stay in. Right in the heart of Hill Country with easy access to the Hwy 290 Wine Trail and Fredericksburg. Loved it!'

'We hadn't expected to book a place like this but we were so pleased we did since it was so beautiful and peaceful. The views when the sun set and rise were extraordinary with the river in perfect view. I loved drinking coffee while watching barges go by. The tiny home had everything we needed and more from plenty of towels to comfortable furniture inside and out on the deck. The bed was firm and the whole place was very clean. It looks brand new and had nicer kitchen cookware than most. ...

'Loved the peaceful, quiet setting alongside the mountains and a small canyon! The construction of the building provided good insulation and we were able to stay cool with the mini-split AC system even in mid July. Had an issue with operating the TV, so were unable to use it, but probably better that way. Room included ample courtesy water. There was also water in the common kitchen building, as well as milk and some other basics. There were several communal refrigerators there, which was...

'The cabin was an absolute dollhouse AND CLEAN AS A WHISTLE!! Not an inch of wasted space, and yet comfortable enough for 2 adults to walk around. Thoughtfully decorated and furnished, including the kitchen. Good TV and WiFi. However, the bed, while clean was not terribly comfortable and the AC was LOUD!! The deck and gas grill were a nice touch and having front and back doors was really smart. All in all a decent stay.'

'Amazing night!'

'Very good hosts. Had to make a change and they were gracious in accommodating.'

'This was the perfect spot for our trip! Great location, kind of hidden away but also a good driving distance to all the thing’s Gatlinburg has to offer. We will definitely be back.'

'Wonderful visit! Tammy was very responsive & a gracious host!'

'My husband and I stayed here for 10 days, we loved it! It was very clean, quiet and had everything we needed. In a quiet area only about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. The host was excellent, replied quickly to our questions and requests for additional supplies needed since it was a longer stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.'

'Refrgerator freezer compartment was iced over so refrigerstor door would not close completely. Thanks to the owners for an otherwise great stay including bottle of Martinelli sparkling cider.'

'It was amazing so beautiful and peaceful'

'Overall best experience especially for our 1st family trip. Everything was clean and the cabin and view were amazing!'

'great secluded property with everything we needed for a great weekend. Hot Tub was nice after a day of hiking.'

'Awesome place, staff even called me early and said room was done early so we could check in early if we wanted. We even saw a bear in the woods. Location is close to everything'

'Loved the secluded atmosphere'

'This cabin was a very cute place to stay, in a beautiful part of the state! The creek was gorgeous, and the host was great! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!'
