'Comfortable'

'If you want a nice place to stay just steps from the beach, this place was wonderful. Parking was free as was the breakfast. I got an ocean view room but wasn't quite expecting the traffic right outside my window. I had a really nice patio and view of the beach I could almost touch, but the main coastal road was right there so you were mostly listening to traffic. Unfortunately, I could also hear cars and motorcycles going by all night while trying to sleep, but if that kind of noise isn't...

'The room was spacious. The housekeeping services were excellent. The outside grounds were well maintained. Parking was free and easy. Wifi was good speed. Location is optimal.'

'Staff was very helpful let g us know where to get dinner and drinks'

'We loved this resort. Being so close to the village and having such a nice property that is modern and what you expect for the price when you stay in Carlsbad.'

'Good rooms, attention to detail, personal, great views over the sea. It does come with the constant sound of waves, you need to like that. Nice bikes to use and bike along the boardwalk '

'We had a great stay at the Westin Carlsbad while attending a wedding there. The location was convenient, the staff was very accommodating, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We did have a minor issue with the AC, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying here again. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!'

'We loved the property and staff was kind and helpful! We had two massages and loved the spa and pool!'

'Very clean'

'Absolutely beautiful property! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the pool was very nice and convenient with a restaurant within. The whole family had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer.'

'We had an enjoyable one night stay here. Just a few minutes drive to the beach, downtown, restaurants, and shops. The place was clean, felt safe, and the staff was friendly and let us check in early. With the fan on at night, we slept well, the sounds of traffic being blocked out.'
