'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. Skipped our room for cleaning, front desk staff just stared at us, made us walk back and forth before checking us in, restaurant staff just looked at us as we waited to be seated and took other people over us that walked up way after we did while we were standing at the counter after just looking at us, casino security were super difficult when trying to show our ID’s, just waved other people past while making us wait. 'We have stayed at this property many times over the last several years, this was not the best experience we have had. While the front staff was friendly and kind, there were several issues. First we woke up with no hot water and needed to be moved. The new room we were moved too was poorly renovated. There was paint on the floor in the bathroom, the kitchen table was wobbly, the bedroom doors could not be shut all the way or you would get stuck in them as they were so tight, the TV in the second...

'The outside doors won’t let you in- all the key pads don’t work…as in only the front door lets you into the motel. The beds are hard, the pillows are fluffy, but drown you when you lay on them. AC struggles to keep up and the room never hit 73. The pool was great. Plenty of parking in the back and on the sides, but you’re gonna have to hoof it to the front door to get in. Elevator is slow. I won’t be back, even though it met my cleanliness requirements.'

Besides the room being bigger than average and a bathtub that can fit 2 people , it’s a basic stay. Large room but with the basics like anywhere else wich makes the unused space feel kinda wasted.
