'The night staff was above and beyond fantastic and helpful. Day time was great too. I just didn’t interact with them as much. Appreciated breakfast but the eggs were not hydrated well enough and were too dry and stiff. Hotel was too far out for my liking but I appreciated the quiet. Meal options near by is limited. Don’t go to the Hawaiian bros unless you enjoy microwaved food that will make you sick.'

'Conveniently located just off I80 and conveniently located close to the mall where you will find a variety of restaurants and shops. This property is very popular so it would behoove travelers to make plans to stay here well in advance.'

'Pros: Friendly staff. Ample parking. Cons: Rooms need major updates and cleaning. Walls were dirty and beat up. Half of the wall outlets didn’t work. No extra bedding provided for the pullout sofa. Toilet seat was broken. The list goes on. Rooms needs LOTS of TLC.'

'This is by far our favorite place to stay when we are in Des Moines! They have never let us down in all the years we have been there, and that says a lot!'

'I was greeted with a smile from the Desk Clerk, completely apprised of all the amenities and urged to make use of them. My room was delightfully clean and cooled, beginning with the sitting room and kitchenette, separate room for sleeping, and yet another room for shower and toilet. Needless to say, my first luxury was dropping my luggage in the waiting rack and climbing in to the hot shower which had shampoo/conditioner/body cleanser readily available, a very welcome option following the past...
