Blokhutten in Hartford

'If you want a remote mountain experience, this is the place. Step outside and all you hear are the birds. From the cabin you cant see another house. The long driveway is like driving back in time. Its a great place to relax, unwind and forget about the hustle and bustle of all that's going on in all of our lives. There were plenty of board games, games and books to read! We made smores in the back yard on fire pit. There was a grill (we didnt use), and a deck to enjoy the scenery. Highly...

'The cabin is very spacious and clean! Host was easy to contact and communicate with. If you are looking for a beautiful private out of the way wedding venue this would be perfect. We had a great time white water rafting at the River Rat right in town and ate a couple times at the Bean Tree.'

'Great place to stay'

'There is good cell service but no wifi. Also no microwave, so plan ahead for that. The grill in the pictures is not the one on site. More like a park picnic grill without a lid. Otherwise clean and cozy. Communication with host was quick and helpful. We had a 4WD truck and I couldnt imagine bringing my coupe here. Roads are a little rough. But we had a good time. Recommend fox and hounds restaurant for dinner and drinks! '

'Wonderful visit! Tammy was very responsive & a gracious host!'

'Nice little home! Enjoyed our stay!'

'We love this place. Away from tourists but close to stores and restaurants. It only takes about 25 minutes to get to Gatlinburg. You will not regret staying here!'
