'My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.'

'We enjoyed staying at Lyndale House. The house was very clean and we all loved having our own room with ensuite.The beds were really comfortable. There was a very well equiped kitchen with many basic ingredients provided. The house was really well located at the bottom of the Main Street. The only negative for us was having no where outside, at the house, to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. This would not be an issue if the weather had not been so good!'

'Lovely, well thought out barn conversion So cosy and comfortable, yet with plenty of space for everyone. Immaculately clean and with all you woukd ever use in the kitchen. Two lovely ensuite doyble bedrooms. The garden was secure so my little dog coukd not wander off. Great central location. We visited Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay, Kiplin Hall and James Herriot World. Pub down the road serves lovely food. Also, the owner Grayham met us to show us to the property and kindly made our garden sevure...

'Close to amenities, perfect location for us, cottage was very clean , everything we needed at hand, bed was comfortable, however , understandable the bunk bed is good for families, it wasn’t so good for my daughter and her husband.Apart from that an enjoyable stay and would recommend.'

'Good location - but can hear people sitting out at rear of pub - heating not fully working and thermostat & fusebox makes a loud noise when heating turned on. No curtains only light coloured vertical blinds in main bedroom so very light in the morning as the sun comes up. Other bedroom not bad as dark coloured blinds - not as bright.'
