'We love the place so much that we are planning to stay again at the same resort. We had a little minor set back with our vechicle so we stayed at the resort most of the time. We were able to cook at the cabin with all the utensils that we needed plus a grill. There are two ponds that we took our kids to go fishing and they loved that! Plus the mini golfing was a plus for them. We want to come when the pool is open so they can go swimming.'

'We loved our stay! The property was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Great nearby places to eat. We never did find the recommended grocery store but we did find another. lol. Would 100% stay here again.'

'This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again.'

'House was very nice, with excellent views. The lake was beautiful and teaming with fish and geese. Hardwood floors were a bit dirty on the main floor, but everything else was clean. Owner was very responsive when contacted, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. I think it was the best house on the lake! We are looking at our calendars right now wanting to go back!'

'We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!'

'The property was perfect for our short weekend stay. The view lived up to the previous reviews. It snowed during our stay which added to the beauty. The cabin and the process of confirming it was easy and convenient. The cabin had the basic kitchen needs and also some games to play with the kids. If I had to suggest anything it would be to add directions for the fire place remote. It was not pairing with the fireplace, but someone from the main office came over quickly to fix it. It worked out...

'This cabin was exactly as described. The area is remote with room to explore the property. There is no cell signal but there is quality WiFi if needed. The creek behind the cabin was cool. Our dogs were able to roam and we all enjoyed our time outside. The outdoor furniture could have been a little more comfortable but I saw the pictures beforehand so we brought our camping chairs. The cabin itself was cozy. We used the kitchen the whole time and it worked out nicely. I appreciated the small...

'Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it.'

'Property was very clean. A couple of comments, not problems. 1) It would help to have the wifi logon and password posted or given to the renter. 2) A channel listing for the TV would help. Also, shielded cables for the cable, tv, and router would help. There was interference with the tv signal when we talked on our cell phones, the bathroom heater kicked on,and when we made coffee.'

'Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!'
