Cabanes à Hallstatt

« Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WC’s and we’re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I don’t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time. « DÉÇUS. Rien ne correspondez à notre réservation… Nous avons logés dans un autre bâtiment à plusieurs centaines de mètres donc aucune commodité de l’hôtel réservé, bar, vue sur le lac et même le petit déjeuner où nous avons été une seule fois le jour du départ. Les chambres devais êtres insonorisés, avec chauffage individuel, mais rien de tout cela, et en plus, vous avions deux petites couettes d’un mètre pour un grand lit, une horreur, surtout que les chambres n’étaient pas bien chauffées....

« This place is just a place for sleeping. The good part is that the room is big for more than 4 guests. Parking space is available. But amenities are insufficient. For examples, there is no conditioner for hire and water temperature is low. Furnitures are a mixed bag. If not for on-site parking, I will try differently places for stay. »

« Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. There was a misunderstanding regarding the parking arrangement, and when we tried to clarify and even compromise, the staff member at the reception (an older male) became very rude and aggressive. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he insulted us, mocked our English, and even threatened to remove us from the hotel. We found his behavior completely unacceptable and felt unsafe.
