Pensions in Halifax

'Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...

'It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.'

'The heating was off in the middle of winter Neither bedside lamps worked The wardrobe was a filing cabinet There was no shower gel in the dispenser Teabags were open to the elements - should be sealed There was only 1 toilet roll. When the property is not manned there should be spares'

'Parking was indeed easy. Ella at reception was friendly, charming and helpful. Adapted room was spot on to meeting Chris’s mobility needs. Fantastic view of Headingley ground from our room!🏏😁👍'
