Cottages in Hailsham

'Absolute delight, perfection. Although we only live a few miles away and was staying whilst we had a new bathroom installed, we will come back to recharge our batteries on a regular basis!!'

'I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Badgers. It was very peaceful, just what I needed. The hut was very well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. Would definitely recommend.'

'Fantastic property. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Loved the history and renovation back story. Was worried it would be cold, draughty and creaky. How wrong we were. It was warm and inviting.Nice rural and quiet location. Happily stay there again!!'

'We had a ln absolutely lovely weekend away, so peaceful and the hut was very cosy and welcoming, would definitely return.'

'Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.'

'All very good. However too many disabled parking spaces meaning too few for others'

'We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again.'

'Very welcoming and well thought out accommodation. Would definitely stay again '

'Cleve Cottage was a lovely little cottage with gorgeous Orla Kiely decor. Everything was very clean. The kitchen and shower-room were lovely. It was well situated for walking up to the town, the nearby Southover Grange Gardens and the station. We had to contact the owner as the parking permits had been overlooked but she resolved this. We didn't have any problems finding somewhere to park during the week. Although the instructions asked that the heating be turned off on leaving, there weren't...

'I had a really amazing time when I stayed at this property and was pleasantly surprised with everything that it had to offer. Both my partner and I had a wonderful, cosy experience and believe it was an absolute bargain for everything that you get! 10/10 :)'

'My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book...

'Heel leuk huisje met alles er op en eraan! Super lekker bed en geweldige douche. Op goede locatie, vlakbij Rye, en het strand. Wel even moeten zoeken want huisje ligt aan redelijk drukke weg en Google geeft een andere plek aan op de weg. Dus we stonden in eerste instantie op verkeerde plek. Absolute aanrader!'

'If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.'

'We loved the cottage and the serene location, and we appreciated the kindness of our friendly hosts!'
